Last Will and Testament
I, TALLULAH BROCKMAN BANKHEAD, residing in the City, County and State of New York, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all wills and codicils by me at any time heretofore made.
FIRST: I direct that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon as practicable after my death.
SECOND: I give and bequeath to each of the following named persons who survive me, the legacy stated after his or her name:
A. To WILLIAM BROCKMAN BANKHEAD, the sum of Five Thousand ($5,000) Dollars.
B. To BROOK SEAWELL, the sum of Ten Thousand ($10,000) Dollars.
C. To BROCKMAN SEAWELL, the sum of Ten Thousand ($10,000) Dollars.
D. To ROSE RILEY, the sum of Two Thousand ($2,000) Dollars.
E. To PHILIP HALL, the sum of Ten Thousand ($10,000) Dollars.
F. To ESTELLE WINWOOD, the sum of Ten Thousand ($10,000) Dollars.
G. To EDIE SMITH, the sum of Ten Thousand ($10,000) Dollars.
H. To KENNETH CARTEN, now residing in London, England, the sum of Ten Thousand ($10,000) Dollars.
I. To MARIE RICKENBACH, the sum of Five Hundred ($500) Dollars.
J. To ALAN VINCENT, the sum of One Thousand ($1,000) Dollars.
K. To ROBERT WILLIAMS, the sum of Five Hundred ($500) Dollars.
L. To ELIZABETH LOCK, now residing in London, England, the sum of Five Hundred ($500) Dollars.

In the event that any of said persons shall predecease me, his or her legacy shall be added to and become part of my residuary estate and shall be distributed hereinafter provided.
THIRD: I give and bequeath to each of the following named persons who survive me, the bequests stated after his or her name:
A. To BROOK SEAWELL, my diamond earrings and my eighteenth century dressing table.
B. To ESTELLE WINWOOD, my diamond and sapphire pendant.
C. To EUGENIA BANKHEAD, my mink coat.
D. To EUGENIA RAWLS SEAWELL, my Renoir, my mink cape, my aquamarine and diamond ring, my six pointed aquamarine and diamond brooch and, except for the film print of "Lifeboat", all of my films and my 16 mm. movie projector.
E. To KENNETH CARTEN, now residing in England, the portrait of me by Peter Sheil.
F. To PHILIP HALL, my pair of white jade vases, the painting of me with a red staircase entitled "Room At The Top" and the two paintings executed by him which I possess.
G. To DONALD SEAWELL, my two (2) Eisendock paintings.
H. To EDIE SMITH, my gold necklace, my gold and moonstone brooch and my moonstones and sapphire bracelet.
I. To JUDY JOY, niece of DOLA CAVENDISH, my star sapphire ring with diamonds.
J. To LOUISA CARPENTER, my pink shell brooch with gold and diamonds.
K. To MILDRED DUNNOCK, my white porcelain tulips.
L. To GEORGE CUKOR, the portrait of me by Ambrose McEvoy.
M. To EDIE VAN CLEVE, my gold weave cigarette case.
N. To RUTH MITCHELL, my white jade statuette with teak base and the film print of "Lifeboat" which I own, if the same can be found among my effects.
O. To TED HOOK, the painting by Grandma Moses which I possess.
P. To ELLIOT REID, also known as TED REID, the painting entitled "Harbor of Dieppe" by Max Bond.
Q. To CHARLES REDFERN, the four (4) etchings and paintings executed by him, which I possess.
R. To JESSE W. LEVY, my Baldwin grand piano and bench.
S. To my namesake, TALLULAH BROCKMAN BANKHEAD, my gold Cartier dressing table set inscribed "Tallulah".
T. TO KITTY LINI, all articles of clothing not otherwise bequeathed herein.
In the event that any of said persons shall predecease me, his or her bequest shall be added to and become part of my residuary estate and shall be distributed as hereinafter provided.
FOURTH: My sister, EUGENIA BANKHEAD, is presently indebted to me, said indebtedness being evidenced by a promissory note and secured by the pledge of a diamond ring. If at my death my said sister shall be indebted to me in any amount, I direct my Executor to cancel such indebtedness and return to her all property belonging to her pledged as security therefore together will all evidence of indebtedness, hereby discharging my sister from all liability in respect thereto.
FIFTH: If my sister, EUGENIA BANKHEAD, survives me, I bequeath to her an annuity at the rate of Two Hundred Fifty ($250) Dollars per month sl long as she shall live. To provide for the payment of said annuity, I direct my Executor to purchase from a life insurance company of good standing, licensed to do business in the State of New York, a non-assignable, non-cancellable, single premium, commercial annuity contract, without cash value or refund provisions and without any term certain, providing for the payment, monthly if possible but at least quarter-annually, of said annuity and to deliver the annuity contract so purchased to my said sister, which delivery shall constitute complete satisfaction of this bequest. Until such annuity contract has been purchased, I direct my Executor to pay the ammuity in monthly installments out of the net income and, to the extent necessary, the principal of my residuary estate.
I direct that this bequest for my sister shall take effect in preference to all other gifts, devises and bequests in this will.
SIXTH: All the rest, residue and remainder of my said estate, real, personal and mixed, of every kind and nature and wheresoever situate, of which I may die seized or possessed or to which I may be entitled at the time of my death, including, without limitation, all property over or concerning which I may have any power of appointment and all property herein attempted to be disposed of, the disposition of which shall fail to take effect by reason of lapse or other cause, and the proceeds of any policy or policies of life insurance payable to me or to my estate (all of which is herein termed my "residuary estate"), I give, devise and bequeath in equal shares of such number that there will be one (1) such share for the children (taken collectively) of WILLIAM BROCKMAN BANKHEAD who survive me, and one (1) such share for
I direct that my said Executor and his successor or successors shall serve, whether in the State of New York or elsewhere, without being required to give bond or other security for the faithful performance of his duties as such.
