Tallulah was back in form (for her cheering fans at least) as a chorus girl trying to snare a rich man. She appeared in one scene wearing gold pajamas that impressed everyone. Ina Claire had played the same role on Broadway in 1919.

Tallulah's comments: "My Charleston in The Gold Diggers was hot stuff! Adele Astaire said she had never seen a better dance."
