Tallulah's Role: Dolores

Tallulah returned to the stage after a three-year absence for this adaptation of a French comedy (Les Enfants d'Edouard), in which she played a matriarch who must tell her three children that they all have different fathers. She enlisted the services of fashion designer Gene Coffin to create her dresses for the play and she was very pleased with the results. The play received lukewarm reviews, but enjoyed a modest run due mainly to praise for Tallulah's performance.
