Tallulah was only sixteen when she made her first stage appearance in this comedy which opened to poor reviews. She got the part with the help of her father who wrote a letter to the Shubert office. Tallulah had only one scene, a non-speaking walk-on part.

Tallulah's comments: "A mute child in a flop. That was my beginning."
